How much do your lessons cost?

£80 per hour, one-to-one. Discounted rates are available if block-booking a series of lessons.

Do you support international students?

As a Maths teacher and in boarding I have been working with international students (and families) for 29 years.

How often & when should I book lessons?

1 hour a week throughout a GCSE/A level course is common, but you can increase/decrease the frequency to suit your requirements. We can book lessons at whatever time of the day/week is suitable for you (subject to availability).

How do online maths lessons work?

We will meet on a video call (Zoom) and work on shared whiteboards. You will need a computer/tablet with an interactive board and pen.

How are lessons structured?

They are structured to best suit your needs. The ultimate aim though is to get you ready to achieve the best possible grade.

Which exam boards do you cover?

All the main UK boards. I have vast experience working with Edexcel, AQA & CIE, but I can work to the specifications of every board.

Can I do last-minute revision?

Yes. In the final few weeks I run intensive revision blocks and one-to-one crammer sessions, focused on the questions that come up most often and on the technique that picks up marks.
